Our experience in Construction began since 19th Century, when our fore fathers From Tiruchirapalli, Mr.RangaiyaPillai andhis Sons T.R.MuthuveeranPillai & T.R.LakshmananPillai started working for the Construction of The Madras Regimental Centre (MRC) at Wellington, and Mountain Railways in Nilgiris during British period in India. The successor T.M.ThiruvenkadamPillai son of T.R.MuthuveeranPillaicontinued the Construction works in all Christian Institutions & Tea Estates Surrounding Nilgiris.
Their Successors T.GovindasamyPillai, T.Sundararajan and T.Venkatesanstarted the Family Construction Firm T M ThiruvengadamPillai & Sons in 1956, Er.T.Venkatesan,B.Sc,B.Ewho is the first Double Graduate as well as first Civil Engineer of our family served as Deputy Superintending Engineer in PWD. The next generation of Contractors G.Rajendran, S.Jayakumar & Er.G.Thiruvengadamcontinued the Construction works in and around Kotagiri, Er.G.Balasubramanian,B.E is serving as the Executive Engineer in TWAD Board.
